More than 950 million people worldwide need vision correction but lack access to primary eye care or cannot afford glasses. GoodVision works to change this by providing free vision tests, high-quality affordable glasses and referrals for urgent treatment, helping people live with greater independence.
Founded in Germany in 2012, GoodVision has grown into a global organization with more than 500 employees and a broad network of volunteers and supporters.
About the Role
GoodVision is seeking a senior, internationally experienced leader to shape the organization's next stage of development in Latin America. Working closely with the Board and country directors, the Regional Coordinator will strengthen existing programs in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay and Peru, while supporting the responsible expansion of GoodVision into new countries.
The role combines regional strategy with hands-on leadership across countries and cultures, with responsibility for organizational development, budgets, partnerships, fundraising and sustainable social impact.
REQUISITOS
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional potential analysis and strategy development in close coordination with the GoodVision Board.
- Translate agreed priorities into action and guide the operational development of new countries in the region.
- Support country directors in strengthening local strategies, leadership capabilities and sustainable organizational structures.
- Oversee regional planning and budgets, ensuring the appropriate and sustainable use of donor funds across program countries.
- Build strong regional and global networks, develop alliances, support fundraising and represent Latin America internationally when required.
- Collaborate with donor organizations, central services and other internal stakeholders on reports, grant applications and donor engagement.
- Promote agreed good practices throughout the region and contribute actively to global GoodVision working groups.

EXPERIENCIA LABORAL
- Senior leadership experience across countries and cultures, including a strong track record of leading leaders and organizations.
- International project management experience in nonprofit or social enterprise environments, or a relevant entrepreneurial background.
- The ability to inspire and develop senior teams, navigate different working styles and build trust in complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong presentation, networking and relationship-building skills, with the potential to contribute to fundraising and partnership development.
- Diplomacy, resilience, adaptability and sound judgment, supported by a high level of integrity and a clear focus on results.
- The ability to work independently, solve complex problems and remain effective in a changing environment.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is an advantage. Frequent regional and international travel is required.
FORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA
A completed university degree and a solid background in strategy development, corporate planning, sales and budget management.
